What's Playing (presently v1.4):

• can send POST requests with playlist details to web server
• can output details of playlist to a local file
• supports templating, so you can change the look and feel of the local output file
• can execute commands upon each update of the song
• can accept arguments to be passed to these commands
• captures details like Artist, Album, Title, Genre, Comments, Year, Track, Song Length, Track position, total playlist size and File Quality(like 128Kbps, 41.1Khz), playlist name (new in v1.4), local date (new in v1.4), local file path and name (new in v1.4)
• supports ID3v1 and ID3v2 tags
• uses threads to prevent hang ups while sending data
• can sense immediate duplicate songs and prevents duplicate updates
• supports htacces password protection
• has proxy support
• supports basic proxy authentication
• lets user decide when to send the updates (eg 20 sec/25% into the song)
• Lets the user send user defined parameters through HTTP POST (new in v1.4).
